Cooperative Month 2026:
Ipinagdiriwang ang Cooperative Month (Buwan ng Kooperatiba) tuwing Oktubre sa Pilipinas alinsunod sa Republic Act No. 11502.
Unang itinatag ang taunang pagdiriwang sa ilalim ng Proclamation No. 493 noong 2003 upang hikayatin ang pakikibahagi ng bawat sektor ng lipunan sa pagbuo ng bansa sa pamamagitan ng kooperatibismo. Malaki ang papel ng mga kooperatiba sa pagpapaabot ng mga importanteng serbisyo at programa sa mga lokal na pamayanan.
Tema para sa 2026: "Matibay na Kooperatiba: Nagkakaisang Pamayanan para sa Kapayapaan at Kaunlaran". Pinatitibay ng temang ito ang kahalagahan ng pagtutulungan ng mga kooperatiba tungo sa kapayapaan at tuloy-tuloy na pag-unlad.
October, Cooperative Month
Cooperative Month is celebrated every October in the Philippines, as mandated by Republic Act 11502, which officially declares it as the National Cooperative Month. The theme for 2025 is "Cooperatives: United in Purpose and Action, Sharing Prosperity to Build a Better World," emphasizing the value of solidarity among cooperatives.
